St Thomas a Becket Church

Call for pictures and photos

Do you have a nice photo of one of Romney Marsh’s medieval churches? Or perhaps they’ve inspired a picture you’ve created? We’re on the look-out for some images from the local community, to be included on our new tour app! We’d love to show what the 14 churches look like at different times of year and we’d also love to see your drawings and paintings of them, including work by children.

These unique buildings have stood for hundreds of years as the landscape and world around them has changed. Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing some fascinating facts and stories about these “Sentinels of the Marsh” on our Facebook Page, so if you feel inspired why not take your camera out with you on your daily exercise walk, or have a go at creating a picture – we’d love to see them! E-mail them to our Cultural Heritage Officer, Didier Rochard Didier.Rochard@kentwildlife.org.uk
