Fifth Continent on Film – project launch and workshop

The Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme, in collaboration with Screen South, are hosting a series of events over 2 days launching the beginning of the Fifth Continent Film Project, aimed at creating a platform for filmmakers which reflects the life and stories of the Marsh.

On Wednesday 2nd May at 6pm, Screen South will present a series of films and archive clips shot in the Romney Marsh area, followed by a screening of Dr Syn, Alias the Scarecrow at 7.30pm. There will then be an opportunity to take part in free film making workshops taking place on Thursday 3rdMay – come along to either 10am, 12pm or 3pm session (all of which cover the same areas). In the workshops you will learn about Film Production, Camera, Sound, Animation and Editing, all delivered by industry professionals.

Both of these events will take place at St Nicholas Church, New Romney.

All workshops are free to attend and open to all ages and abilities.
