Volunteer led research continues on all heritage projects, covering Churches, Landholdings and the Hunt for Romney Port!

We are also using the results of environment agency LiDAR surveys to understand the amazing Marsh landscape further. LiDAR (stands for Light Detection and Ranging) allows us to see all the lumps and bumps in the landscape. We can explore every inch of the Marsh, looking at ruined churches, centuries of land reclamation and even a Roman Fort!
