Landscape archaeology training session

The aim of the training day is to introduce people to the techniques of identifying, recording, and interpreting archaeological features in the landscape in order to tease out the ‘story’ of the history of the Marsh. Identification of these features also helps to inform the long term management of the landscape and to understand the biodiversity of the Marsh. By the end of the day volunteers should feel competent to undertake similar surveys as a part of the heritage projects. See What’s On page for more information.

Visit the Heritage, Geomorphology & Land Use project page for more information about the project.
