Traineeships, Pre-Apprenticeships and Study Programmes
Through the use of Heritage Lottery and central Government funding we will increase the current opportunities on the Marsh for young people to learn skills and gain work experience. These programmes will help to increase current levels of English, maths and IT (where necessary), and involve young people in work experience opportunities which will give them a better understanding of, and preparation for, the world of work. Where possible these opportunities will be linked to the landscape, heritage, farming and conservation. It will also promote Apprenticeships to local businesses to open up entry level jobs and bolster the local economy. Hadlow College have been awarded the contract to deliver the training programme.
Traineeships, Pre-Apprenticeships and Study Programmes contribute to the Reclaim project theme.
