Short Filmmaking Competition now launched! 

Film competition

JAM on the Marsh in collaboration with Screen South and with support from National Lottery Heritage funded Fifth Continent LP Scheme, has announced an exciting new element to their 2020 virtual multi arts festival. This year its including a short film competition facilitated by Screen South and open to all residents of Kent and Sussex, of all ages and abilities.

Registration is now open via www.screensouth.org, enabling you to sign up to receive your free production pack and enter the competition.

Your film can be shot in any genre, and be between 5 and 10 minutes long. You must be a resident in either Kent or Sussex and to be eligible for entry to the competition, films must be shot on, and contain, identifiable shots from the Romney Marsh. The closing date for submissions is midday on Friday 25th September 2020 after which submitted films will be judged by a panel of industry experts.  Selected films will be screened at a virtual industry day at the end of October 2020. There will be a prize for the best film and JAM on the Marsh/Screen South laurel awarded.

All of the submitted films will have the opportunity to be screened on the Fifth Continent and JAM websites.
