Interested in learning more about wildflowers and living on or near the Romney Marsh?

We are pleased to announce a short, free training course that will give you an introduction to identifying flowering plants from 6 key families (Peas & legumes; Carrots; Dead-nettles; Asteraceae; Rosaceae; Campions) which are often loved by bees and other pollinators and which grow on the Romney Marsh. Dr Lesley Mason an expert botanist will guide us through their unique features and ecology to help us identify certain key species within each family during the online session on Sunday 16th May. Then during the field trip on the morning of 23rd May we will put our new found knowledge into practice and learn how to use wildflower keys to help us feel more certain in our identifications of these plants. Come and join us!

If you want to join, registration is essential so please click on the Eventbrite link or contact Tobias Jackson our Biodiversity Officer to book your place – Tel: 07568 428365 or E-mail: Tobias.Jackson@kentwildlfie.org.uk
