Vital Creative Community Engagement Programme Launched

What helps and what hinders great participant experience and how to help people in groups to uncover, free, voice and co-create the ways for taking forward the things they care about and want to make happen.

About this programme

The Vital Creative Community Engagement programme gives you four confidential one2one mentoring sessions and three group workshops. It is designed to help you to increase your confidence, skills and techniques for developing and engaging people, especially young people, who live in Romney Marsh area. The programme will support you in creating and developing new, exciting and innovative project engagement ideas into viable projects with the Romney Marsh community. The projects will have a focus on enhancing the appreciation and conservation of the Heritage and Wildlife of the local area.

We are now looking to work with local organisations and groups to be part of this programme, developing new ideas and projects which will improve the way we engage with people and enhance their experience of nature and the heritage that is all around them.  A requirement of this programme will be for the lead person or persons to attend the workshops and engage with the programme mentor for 4 sessions during the development of their project. Involvement will bring the opportunity to apply for a small grant to deliver your project.
