The Marsh Mosaics – We need YOUR ideas!

Romney Marsh is an ancient and at-risk landscape, with a rich history and unique wildlife. In partnership with ten of the Marsh’s medieval churches and a number of local artists, we’re telling the story of Romney Marsh with The Marsh Mosaics – a series of mosaics created by the community as a celebration of the area!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED: We need your ideas and we’re inviting you to get creative! Send us photos of your artwork inspired by the history and wildlife of Romney Marsh. The Marsh Mosaic Artists will use these creations to inspire the final mosaic designs. Anyone can have a go, from total beginners to professionals!

To help inspire you, from Monday we’ll be posting all sorts of fascinating facts about the churches and villages involved on our Facebook Page. We’ll also be polling the Romney Marsh community for your favourite iconic wildlife of the Marsh, to be included in the final designs.

We’ll be announcing our mosaic-making workshops soon – if you’re interested and would like to be kept in the loop, please e-mail us HERE.
